Sr. Treasury Analyst

Location: Herndon, VA

Job purpose

 

  • The Treasury Operations – Cash Management & Liquidity Sr. Analyst is a highly visible role that will ensure the Company’s liquidity and cash reporting needs are met. The successful individual will act as the lead for all of the Company’s cash related matters and provide weekly reporting to internal stakeholders.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Ensure adequate liquidity for the Company’s ongoing operational and capital requirements
  • Manage the daily cash process including initiating and analyzing the daily cash position for U.S. and Canada operations, initiate wire transfers, review positive pay, and compiling      the necessary audit trail documentation
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly liquidity reporting
  • Overseas the administration of bank services/fees, corporate treasury databases, and record-keeping include the opening, maintenance, and closing of bank accounts
  • Maintain and monitor Beacon’s cash forecasting model against key performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze unexpected variance
  • Liaise with bank partners to optimize cash management process and recommend solutions
  • Provides ongoing review of Treasury’s controls and processes, and policy documentation. Recommend and implement process efficiencies and improvements
  • Act as Treasury’s cash lead for annual bank exam and audit
  • Assist with ad hoc projects

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications include:

  • 4-7 year’s treasury experience for a large publicly-traded corporation ($2B+).
  • Experience in a multi-location environment to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of the organization and drive change
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Collaborative business partner, adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results
  • Solid understanding of, and experience with, quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team oriented culture
  • Proficiency with MS Office products is required including an advanced understanding of Excel. A quick learner on systems and applications including Prophix, Mincron, and bank-specific applications

 

Working conditions 

 

The position does require travel up to 15% of the time in addition to extended hours as deemed necessary.

 

Physical requirements
